About Us

This acoustic trio combines powerful vocals and harmonies with a variety of instrumental arrangements, bringing new energy to old-timey sounds. They play blues, bluegrass, swing, folk and original tunes. Their influences include Tim O'Brien, Gillian Welch, Johnny Cash, Split Lip Rayfield, Beth Orton, Chris Thile, Steve Earle, Reinhardt and Grappelli, Jolie Holland and Steve James.They are based in Denver, CO.

Andy Miller - vocals, guitar, resonator guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin
Andy, a veteran of the touring & recording blues act Blinddog Smokin', grew up playing guitar and mandolin with family and friends in Wyoming. He studied classical guitar at the University of Wyoming, then toured as the bass player with Blinddog for seven years before settling in Denver in 2000. He also builds acoustic instruments, including the octave mandolin he plays.

Jessica Slater - vocals, fiddle, guitar
Jess grew up in the U.K., and began playing classical violin and piano at an early age. After graduating college she lived in France for three years before moving to Denver in 1999. She and Andy started performing together as the Alltunators in 2005.

Pascal Guimbard
- upright bass, guitar, harmonica
Pascal was a very welcome addition to the Alltunators in 2008. Originally from France, he brings a real passion for old American music. He has many years of experience playing blues, country and rockabilly, as well as gyspy swing. He has played with the Dalhart Imperials, Gypsy Swing Revue, Red Hot 'n' Blue, Felonius Smith and the Interstate Cowboys.
